Is there anything better than stitching and sipping on a delicious glass of wine?
Hand Sewing Happy Hour is a space to explore the world of hand stitching - both functional and decorative. We will be practicing on knits but these skills can be carried over to woven as well. We will meet at South Lyndale Liquors to practice both non-stretch and stretch hand stitches, appliqué, chat about how you can use these stitches to sew garments by hand, and sample some delicious wine!
Some hand stitching experience will help but is not required.

Class fee is $40 (glass of wine provided), kit fee is $35 and includes the Geometry of Hand Sewing book by Natalie Chanin, thread, and needles for a total class fee of $75 *If you already have the book, email us about a separate kit fee.
We will require a minimum of 4 registered students to hold the class. (If we do not hold the class you will be refunded). If you need to cancel later than 1 week before class is held, you will receive store credit.
