Kid's Class: Design and Create your own Creature (or Doll) with Kelsey, June 25-27, 9 AM-12 PM

Come and create your own creature or doll with Kelsey! Ages 8+

In this class we’ll begin by sketching out ideas for our hand-made buddies. Do we want a doll? A monster? A chicken? As we brainstorm we’ll discuss how to make a final decision as we explore the components we’ll need to execute our ideas well. We will make choices about how to best create our facial features (embroidery? Applique? Drawing directly on fabric?), and whether or not our new friend needs clothing or accessories. This class will focus on a mix of hand-sewing and machine sewing, depending on the student’s comfort level or what they’re excited to learn. 

What to bring:

-Sewing Machine, power cord, and bobbins. If your child needs to borrow one of our shop machines please indicate that in the order comment box. 

-Snack and water!
